once your device is like 2 years old and "outdated" (mostly redmi phones) they proceed to just remove every flagship feature and make those devices basically unusable atp id rather have an android 14 miui 14 port than hyperos 1 on android 13
it sucks but if you manage to unlock the bootloader (will do it on mine probably) the custom rom community for xiaomi (especially redmi phones) is huge so you get a phone for dirt cheap and decent specs
